Everything we do at the Fairfield Foundation begins with support from people like you. Contributions from interested individuals, as well as private foundations, not only fund our day-to-day operations, but also the historical research, public dig days, and outreach with local students and youth groups. Every contribution helps, is sincerely appreciated, and is tax deductable.

There are several ways you can assist the Fairfield Foundation. Cash donations are appreciated and tax deductible (the Fairfield Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit foundation). We can also work with you and your business if you have a corporate matching program. Your donation will often help us match challenge grants from private foundations. It's a great feeling to know that your contribution will indeed double or triple in value, encouraging others to contribute as well.

Almost as important as cash is the donation of your time. The Fairfield Foundation is a small organization with many responsibilities and commitments. We love to work with volunteers interested in any aspect of archaeology, architecture, history, and historic preservation. We offer many opportunities for you to help and no experience is necessary. We also welcome those of you interested fund raising, membership drives, and general administrative tasks. Your volunteer time can often be used as an "in-kind" match to many of the grants we receive from charitable organizations. If you donate 25 hours or more in a single year you qualify for a one year basic membership.

There is also a third way you can help: donating supplies, equipment, and services. From time to time we find ourselves in need of everything from film canisters to lawn mowers to computers. We are always in need of various equipment, maintenance services, and other supplies. If you have materials or skills that you would like to donate, please contact us. These contributions are also tax deductible.

The giving levels for memberships are listed below. Send your check or money order, along with an email address if you would like occasional email updates, to the address below. As part of your membership you will recieve our quarterly newsletter highlighting the various activities of the foundation along with updates of recent finds and upcoming events. In addition, you will be notified in advance of any special events, dig days, and gift shop offers.
